This is an Non- Exclusive Rights Platform.

This means as the creator and author of your poetry, you are the  owner of your poetry as "the property holder".

It means Poets Built It as a charity and none of it other members can use your poetry without gaining your permission first, or crediting you as the author and owner of the poem.

User Agreements

As a member of and contributor to the Poets Built It Online Community platform, it is required that you agree all content you upload is your own unless otherwise stated.

Any work you upload that belongs to someone else should be stated as such, credited and, or shared with their permission. It is even better that you have the necessary rights to use and share it, although this may not always be possible. Where it isn’t, please credit others for their work.

Indemnification Clauses
This clause states that users agree to indemnify the platform against any claims arising from their content—that is, the content you post.

This means that you agree to take responsibility if something you post leads to legal claims against the platform.

This means if a user’s content posted causes a legal issue, such as a copyright infringement claim or defamation suit, the user is responsible for covering all associated costs defending the platform in court.
